Standard Active Tracking
Standard Active Tracking provides your organization complete offender tracking history – including locations and alarms – along with real time notification on critical alarms.
Key features of this tracking option include:

Standard Active Monitoring is an optimal choice for organizations when budget constraints limit options for Intervention Active Monitoring; greater offender supervision is required and you’re your organization requires real-time notification on critical alarms.
Passive Monitoring
SecureAlert’s Passive Monitoring is unique because it captures and sends tracking and alarm information in real-time to the TrackerPAL II™ software system to make it available to officers if needed.
Key features of this tracking option include:
- Real-time tracking and alarm information available in TrackerPAL™ software
- Ability to obtain offender “location status” in real-time via the software
- Daily, automated reports emailed to supervision officers showing all alarms by offender for a previous 24-hr. period
Passive Monitoring is an optimal choice for organizations when staffing or budget constraints are in place; minimal offender supervision is required; immediate response to violations is not required or SecureAlert Monitoring Center intervention is not required.
TrackerPAL II™ with eArrest Beacon
SecureAlert’s eArrest Beacon is an electronic tether that complements the TrackerPAL II™ device. It is a completely self-contained, short-range transmitting station that provides continuous signaling via radio frequency (RF)and communicates with the TrackerPAL™ device. Working together, these two technologies can improve your organization’s ability to electronically monitor an offender’s presence or absence at a specific location (home, work, counseling, etc.) at specified time periods.
The eArrest Beacon allows for more precise tracking of offenders in areas where GPS solutions may be insufficient; for example, inside multi-floor apartments where GPS signals are too weak.
Key features of this tracking option include:
- Transition from GPS to RF tracking when TrackerPAL II™ enters/leaves range of Beacon
- Internal battery provides 200+ days of use – no external power source is required
- Beacon data is communicated via the TrackerPAL II™ device – no landline is required
- Motion alarm generated if Beacon is moved
- One Beacon can be assigned to multiple TrackerPAL II™ devices (e.g. halfway house)
- Multiple Beacons can be assigned to one TrackerPAL II™ device (e.g. work and home)
The eArrest Beacon provides your organization greater monitoring control by significantly reducing an offenders’ allowed area of movement.
