Dear Fellow RMDX Shareholder,
As we approach the half-year mark since becoming a publicly traded company, I have been logging many miles for meetings with new and prospective investors who are excited by our unique formula for tapping into two high-growth segments. I have been telling them of the momentum I anticipate as our wholly owned SecureAlert business shifts from its intensive R&D phase into full commercialization of a new generation of products and monitoring services.
We believe that ours is the most flexible, reliable and cost effective remote monitoring solution for helping law enforcement protect neighborhoods from predators and providing peace of mind for families with loved ones who are frail, infirm, or live alone.
We have very encouraging indicators of the pent-up demand for our uniquely differentiated SecureAlert offender monitoring service, and will soon quantify for you the level of orders in our pipeline. The calculations will help us initially place an order with our contract manufacturer and to ensure we have sufficient coverage in our Monitoring Center to handle the expected volume.
Investors like you tell me they are impressed by SecureAlert's recurring revenue model for our unique 24/7 Monitoring Center. The fixed daily cost is extremely compelling to budget-constrained public agencies who must cope with the growing recidivist population of criminals and predators in our midst. Moreover, with the baby boom generation now tipping the demographic scale, the need for our unique monitoring service for the aged cannot be overstated .
Having invested much energy in finessing the technology that will drive the SecureAlert business, we have begun to build up our sales and marketing resources to increase awareness among the key decision makers. We were reticent up until now to over promise what we could deliver, but all of our systems and processes are in place to delight our customers. Consequently, you will start reading and hearing more about SecureAlert deployments around the country, and we will share this good news with you and other investors.
To that end, I encourage you to check the updated "Investor" and "News" sections of our website, www.remotemdx.com . If you've not yet asked to be on our opt-in mailing list, I urge you to register online so that you'll be kept up to date.
Sincerely,
James Dalton
